After some sign-ups, assignments and questionnaires... MY FEBRUARY FREEBIES!

2016 may have been a pretty questionable year, with it's series of unfortunate events, but 2017 is already made up for the previous year 3 times over! Not because of luck or coincidence, but because of my actions and effort put forth towards my "New Year New Me" goal! If you've already scrolled down to see "My February Freebies", then you saw how impressive my "samples" are and the best part is - You can receive products just as I have!
I signed up for CrowdTap (one of my all-time favorite product testing communities), they send out the best full size luxurious products money can't buy because they're not on the market yet! Such as Suave Professionals Honey Infused strengthening hair care and Aveeno Positively Radiant 60 second in-shower facial & Positively Radiant overnight hydrating facial, plus you receive points for reviewing products and earn Amazon gift cards. I also signed up for House Party and Chatterbox - both registers on the same site, except House Party is for larger parties and Chatterbox is for single samples; all full-sized, of course. I haven't been accepted for a House Party just yet, but Chatterbox sent me the lovely Dove Advanced Care 48HR antiperspirant I adore! Seventh Generation has a community (they sent me 3 different samples of concentrated laundry detergent for sensitive skin and a 2$ off any Seventh Generation laundry detergent coupon), as well as, the Snuggle company, McCormick company, KY personal lubrication, Loreal, the Pink panel, Shespeaks, Smiley360, BuzzAgent (which I adore!) and Amazon Reviewer aka Vipon.com.
I simply participated in a few surveys to receive the awesome magazine collection I have recently begun, including: Allure, Weight Watchers, Martha Stewart living, Good Housekeeping, Homes and Gardens, Shape, In Style, CQ, Hot Rod, Women's Day, Sports Illustrated for kids, Highlights for kids, Style Watch, Family Fun, Parenting, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan and New York Times magazine - ALL WITH A YEAR SUBSCRIPTION... Did I mention I found these subscriptions by simply Googling "free magazine subscriptions"?! Nothing magic or coincidental taking place here; merely a little time, effort and smarts. You are just as eligible and capable as I, you may as well enjoy the little perks while available and those little steps towards better products may just assist in furthering a product reviewing career (on the side of everyday life, of course)...
After all my effort, time spent signing up, completing assignments, voting polls, reviewing products and multitudes of pictures taken - I am happy to report I am quite satisfied with my achievements this month and am looking forward to what March holds in store for me! I hope you found my post helpful and I recommend you sign up for every community or site I mentioned! They send out some truly amazing and oh so helpful products!

Keeping it short and sweet... Honey Infusion kind of sweet!

Have you ever been in the shower, lathering away with your fingers massaging your scalp and think to yourself, "Wow, my hair is weak and brittle! Though I take daily vitamins?!" or "It feels like time for another hot oil treatment, I wonder if there's an easier way to rejuvenate my hair?", maybe even, "Is it normal for my scalp to feel dry and itchy but not have dandruff?" ... Actually, yes it is! It's very possible and likely! I have purchased an entire closet full of products to moisturize my scalp, anti-dandruff shampoos, intense therapy conditioners, volumizing sprays, damage remedy serums; the list goes on and on... I've grown quite fond of my 12 beauty routine products, as most of us ladies have. When we find something we like, that's beneficial to us and is cost efficient - we tend to stick with that helpful "makes me look my best" ole faithful collection. Every woman has her "collection" and I support the concept fully; so much that I'm proactive and have my own quite large "makes me look my best collection" and intend on adding to that collection!
One product, in particular, that I will be adding to my hair care routine and feel every woman should give a try: Suave Professionals Honey Infusion strengthening hair care line! I recommend it 100%! One of my favorite communities CROWDTAP, so graciously chose me to review this amazing product. My first thoughts were "well this should be fun", Never expecting the line to actually remedy the years of damage I have caused my hair; with permanent dyes, random highlights, blow drying and straightening. Though I cut back on my "must be perfect hair styles" after becoming a mother, but my desire to have healthy strong beautiful hair is still an important part of me and always will be...
Only now it's not a concern with Suave Professionals Honey Infusion! I won't say that I have retired my other beloved hair care products, but I do feel like Suave deserves personal recognition. They have gone above and beyond my expectations! Especially, given that I have had previous experience with Suave's older lines and though most of their products had very pleasant beckoning scents, the products performance wasn't of the highest quality and honestly; dried out my scalp. YET, much to my surprise - Suave Professionals Honey Infusion is not like any other product by Suave, it's so much better! Take the strengthening of Nexxus, the scent of Herbal Essences, the moisture of Olay, the quality of Pantene, the body Dove, the volume of Treseme' and the cost of Loreal - combine the brands' main skin care elements and you will have Suave Professionals Honey Infusion strengthening hair care!
What else is so great about Suave Professionals Honey Infusion strengthening hair care, you ask, besides the obvious? An easy open pop-top, thick creamy shampoo that lathers perfectly and rinses clean though you can still feel the moisturizing factors of the heavenly sweet honey scented strengthening shampoo. Then the thick creamy, just as heavenly, if not more sweet honey scented strengthening conditioner - which I let sit for at least 60 seconds for best results. By the time I washed and conditioned my hair, I honestly felt like I had just had my hair shampoo'd at the salon, which is a real treat for a mother of multiple! That's not all though, yes, there was another product in the collection (I felt was just for me)! Suave Professionals Honey Infusion leave-in conditioning cream! Yes, I said it - Leave-In Conditioning Cream! It's alright, I got excited too, naturally! I must say, the leave-in conditioning cream has really won my heart! I love how it moisturizes so well, without the heavy feeling of oily or greasy hair and how the heavenly sweet honey scent lingers on my hair all night, as well as, throughout the next day until I can shower again (minor mommy problems haha)! Its like a salon session for my hair, only without the expensive cost!
In conclusion, would I recommend Suave Professionals Honey Fusion strengthening hair care? Absolutely! Without a doubt! The strengthening shampoo, strengthening conditioner and leave-in conditioning cream, Alone, make an amazing hair care remedy treatment and pampering therapy session - All-in-one! I would recommend Suave Professionals Honey Infusion strengthening hair care line to every woman who strives for healthy, strong, youthful hair; requires high quality salon professional products and adores lingering heavenly sweet scents as much as I do! Give Suave Professionals a try - I guarantee you won't regret it!

Going on 30 skin care routine changes #1

I can't speak for every woman, but experiencing the changes personally, I'm convinced the skin begins to change (some traits more apparent than others) at 30... Again... I don't know about you but I enjoy my youth, my 20's have been epic (in comparison to my adolescence) and my skin has been very good to me (except for that acne in high school and the oily skin during pregnancy haha!). You may know where I'm coming from, hopefully.
As I turn 30 (in just a few months), I've noticed some changes in my skin that weren't the most appealing. Dry skin on my face?! What, that's never been there before! What are these slightly dark blemishes that I am sure aren't acne related (as you've read,I've already been there & experienced that, terrible)?! And is it just me or has my skin somewhat dulled in pigmentation? I used to be so naturally vibrant as a teenager! Even through the acne haha...
Well my skin is Not going down without a fight! I mean, have you seen Jennifer Aniston in her 50's?! Gorgeous! I can't say that will be me at 50 because I'm a mom of multiple nor am I a millionaire haha! But if I can come close, that would be amazing and that is the goal, right?! Amazing results without millionaire prices. Plus Jennifer came clean with a secret to her youth when she became the spokesperson for Aveeno. So I thought, hey! Why not? CrowdTap (awesome site by the way) so graciously provided all I needed for 30 days of use, what was stopping me? Exactly!
I summarized my experience for you so you can, too, get an idea of how Aveeno Positively Radiant 60 second in-shower facial cleanser & overnight hydrating facial moisturizer feel and whether or not it's something you would be interested in. Theprice isn't an issue, it is quite affordable on just about any salary...
My final analysis report:  After 30 consecutive days of Aveeno Positively Radiant (60 second in-shower facial cleanser & overnight hydrating facial moisturizer), in all honesty... The 60 second in-shower facial cleanser has a heavenly green tea meets sweet pea scent, the steam from my hot winter shower acts as an aid for a deeper cleanse. I felt quite a difference in the cleansing of my skin and my pores were noticeably clearer - though I do suggest combining an in-shower manual or automatic gentle exfoliating brush as well, for best results). The overnight hydrating facial moisturizer has an even more heavenly scent; almost like shea butter meets cucumber melon. I applied the moisturizer right before bed for best results, of course, on my face and neckline (that may be age revealing as well, to those of us striving to keep our youth). Non-greasy, applies easily, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling as soft ad my baby's bottom haha! Truthfully, I would have to give Aveeno Positively Radiant 4.5 stars; for being gentle on my skin (I have quite sensitive skin), for helping (not curing but helping) with the dry skin, moisturizing extremely well Without the feeling of greasy skin or clogged pores. My skin is definitely more radiant but I still have a few issues with a couple dark spots here and there. As long as it stays within a family affordable price range and is readily available at a variety of well-known local stores, I will continue to buy it (with a coupon, of course) and continue down my path of youth preservation....

Hello There, I am Jessica...

I suppose I should start off by saying, this is the beginning to a new chapter in my life (a new book all together, you could say), bringing forth new experiences & opportunities. I'm excited, I'm nervous, I'm completely intrigued & anticipating a brighter future!
With that being said, I'll explain my vast cauldron of emotions (interesting choice of words, I know, that's just me haha)... I'm a mom... There ya go, that's it, that's the reason for all the emotions haha. Well they are my sunshine but I wasn't actually referring to them haha. I was speaking in general, I'm taking new steps to further my writing career (it has always been a great passion for me). I enjoy writing tremendously & have written countless short stories, poems, songs, greeting cards, etc. But never have I taken the path of product reviews or work of a critic...
Then I realized how beneficial to my children, my community & all consumers who just so happen to read my blog (hint, hint). I'm truly excited to become a voice every consumer & hope it makes a difference in your life, because I'm not going to sugar coat my reviews in the least; but if it's an amazing product than I think everyone should have equal opportunity to experience how wonderful of a product it really is (like Coldpressed coconut oil or Ceylon, that's a different blog though - about nutrition as well!). I have so many topics I want/plan to cover! Nutrition, natural healing agents, the joys & oh no's of being a parent, also about growing up moving around so much (I'm sure you noticed haha), even medical/health issues (we all have them, whether minor or major) & so much more.
This is just an introductory though so I won't go too far in depth, but I hope you can relate (in a positive way, of course) & that you get something useful, knowledgeable &/or helpful from my blog. I'm looking forward to this unpredictable yet exciting journey ahead of me & I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride with me (although I'd suggest a seat belt haha).
